An inspection must show what was tested, which measurements were taken and where action is required.
We perform initial and periodic inspections in accordance with ETG and ESV. The scope is based on the plant, its use, environmental conditions and available documentation. We inspect the electrical installation, protective measures and functions, record the measurements and assign every finding to the affected part of the plant. Necessary shutdowns are coordinated with operations and maintenance. After completion, the operator receives a complete inspection report for documentation, maintenance and further action.

How is the inspection scope determined?
The scope depends on the type of plant or machine, its use, operating conditions and the available documentation.
Before work begins, we clarify which installations, distribution boards and equipment are included and which measurements and functional checks are required.
Does the plant have to be shut down for the inspection?
Some visual inspections can be carried out during operation. Specific electrical measurements and functional checks may require individual sections to be disconnected.
Necessary shutdowns are agreed with operations and maintenance in advance. Thermographic images are taken under normal operating load wherever possible.
What should be inspected after a modification or repair?
Modifications to cables, drives, control cabinets, power supplies or control systems can affect existing protective measures.
We define the affected inspection area, inspect the modified electrical equipment and document which changes were included.
What information is included in the inspection report?
The report identifies the inspected plant or machine and records the inspection scope, methods, measurements and results.
Any defects or deviations are assigned to the affected plant section so that the required corrective work can be planned clearly.
Can thermography replace an electrical inspection?
No. Thermography can reveal unusual heating at components and connections under load and is a useful supplementary investigation.
It does not replace measurements of protective measures, functional checks or a complete electrical inspection.
